About Loud and Clear: I want this book to empower you to write feedback that parents will want to read. And you’ll pick up some tidbits on Chinese culture along the way.
After covering the principles I use to write useful feedback, I show you samples of how I word feedback in specific situations. I hope that this info will help you find your own unique voice and leave feedback that is useful, realistic, and inspiring. When you deliver an AMAZING experience both in the classroom and in the feedback box, parents tend to reciprocate with rave reviews or re-bookings.

Ed’s book has helped me develop ESL teaching techniques just as well as it has helped me write better feedback—-and Ed does it all without being heavy-handed.

You have probably come to the reviews section wondering if Ed’s book is worth buying or maybe you have his first book and you are thinking, “30 more dollars hmmm how much more could I learn about giving feedback?” I’m a very frugal person and have virtually $0 to spend on anything extra. I did a few extra classes this last month just so I could get this expanded version and let me tell you. IT IS WORTH EVEYR PENNY. In fact it is worth more than $40 in my opinion. So much quality info…he really explains things in a clear concise way. Your rate of parental feedback will go up no doubt! Thank you Ed for all your care and hard work!

Thank you Ed Nace, I have noticed an increase in my feedback percentages since reading your expanded version! I still feel I am a bit slow in developing thoughtful, helpful feedback, but it is definitely paying off!

I am so happy that I purchased Loud and Clear: Expanded Edition! Not only has this book enhanced my VIPKid feedback, it has helped me teach with more confidence in the classroom. I am amazed at the difference it has made in such a short period of time. The cultural insight, teaching techniques, and feedback suggestions are priceless. Moreover, it is easy to use and apply. I downloaded it to my phone, computer, and printed it out, so where ever I find myself writing feedback, I have it ready for reference. What a tremendous resource! Thanks, Ed, for helping me become a better teacher!

As of a few days ago, I have a 50% five apple feedback rate at VIPKid! I also receive an above-average amount of five-star feedback at GogoKid. Just today, I received this very touching feedback written in English from a parent:
“Jennifer is an excellent teacher .she is always been conscientious in her work. The style of class is lively and lively.Ever since the child learned English with her ,his grades have improved. He is an experienced and caring teacher .The child said that he should learn English well, grow up quickly and go abroad to find her face to face to exchange English.”
Thanks Ed Nace for providing this valuable resource that has helped me connect to and understand these wonderful little kids. It was well worth the investment!

Ed, thank you so much for all your time and hard work to create your feedback books. Today I had a student make a deeply disturbing joke and I was shocked and at a loss for what to say to his parent. Your section about behavior issues was a bright spot in a difficult day. Thank you!
Also, here is some parent feedback that I attribute to this excellent book: “Every time I see a page full of feedback from teacher Cathy, I am very moved! You are really a very attentive teacher, Alan super like you! Thank you, teacher”
Thank YOU, Ed!!!

A direct result of Loud and Clear here is some feedback I received recently:
“Thank you, kayla teacher, you are her favorite teacher, yesterday she had a lot of classes, finally or simply eat dinner adhere to the end of the class, thank you for your comments, every time we can find nutrition.” I feel so happy that I can construct feedback that makes me feel good to give and is received well! I appreciate this as a resource so much! I leave it open on my computer and search out what I want to say when I get stuck. It has also helped me to know what to look for during class! Thanks Ed!

This book is a MUST HAVE if you want to leave quality feedback that parents will respond to. He has examples for almost every possible situation you will encounter teaching Chinese kids online. It is my go to when I’ve had a particularly difficult lesson, and now that I have regulars it helps me keep my feedback fresh. He has knowledge of the culture that is invaluable. If you need help writing feedback and don’t want to pay a monthly fee for feedback panda this is your answer. Hands down the most important resource I have.
