Description
This is the Expanded Edition to Loud and Clear, my ebook about leaving class feedback that will leave a great impression on your students. Not sure of the difference between the original version and the expanded? Read this FAQ. Bottom line: the original has 65 pages. The expanded one has 243 pages. The original is a great place to start!
About Loud and Clear: I want this book to empower you to write feedback that parents will want to read. And you’ll pick up some tidbits on Chinese culture along the way.
After covering the principles I use to write useful feedback, I show you samples of how I word feedback in specific situations. I hope that this info will help you find your own unique voice and leave feedback that is useful, realistic, and inspiring. When you deliver an AMAZING experience both in the classroom and in the feedback box, parents tend to reciprocate with rave reviews or re-bookings.

Thank you for your help! I have been with VIPKID almost 2 years and have been so careful with my feedback so not offend. Your books have helped me to be more expressive and precise with my wording! I am forever grateful! I love this opportunity, these precious students and families, the joy of teaching from home and of course the added income. This old retired teacher appreciates you and your books so very much! You are AWESOME Ed Nace!

I am a second contract teacher for VIPKID and I purchased the lite version to see if I could use some of the strategies. After purchasing and used it for a few ideas, I realized how much I loved the ideas. So, I went back and repurchased the extended version. It was a good choice. There are more than 200 pages full of ideas and insights. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

I finally invested in the expanded book and could KICK myself for waiting so long!!! I have a 2-3 time/week regular who has the most awesome, supportive parents, but they won’t let her have any space. She’s very advanced for her unit and would soar if she could spread her wings. The advanced copy of the book helped me word that just right. She got to take the next class by herself and her smile was worth 10 times the purchase price!!!! Thank you, Ed Nace!!

Ed’s books have really transformed my student feedback. Rather than copying and pasting from a template, I’ve been able to focus in on the strengths and weaknesses of each individual student and relay that to parents in a positive and constructive way. One of the most helpful parts of the book is how to give customized homework that students can actually do rather than writing “Student can practice….”
Ed gives you various teaching situations and examples of feedback, not only for the perfect student but for those who are a bit more challenging as well. I appreciate the information pertaining to cultural norms of our students and families. Also, the Say What? Facebook group is another awesome bonus! I highly recommend the books and the Facebook group to anyone starting out in the online teaching business!
Thank you for your excellent resources!

This is a 5 Star book! It’s a MUST read for any ESL online teacher! Using Ed’s suggestions, I feel that I have become much more in tune to the actual needs of my students which enables me to write more specific feedback. It’s the kind of feedback I would want as a parent! Thank you, Ed! I also appreciate the fact that Ed is a “real” person! He understands our struggles as teachers and because of his life experiences he also understands the perspective of a Chinese parent.
