Description
I want this book to empower you to write feedback that parents will want to read. And you’ll pick up some tidbits on Chinese culture along the way.
After covering the principles I use to write useful feedback, I show you samples of how I word feedback in specific situations. I hope that this info will help you find your own unique voice and leave feedback that is useful, realistic, and inspiring. When you deliver an AMAZING experience both in the classroom and in the feedback box, parents tend to reciprocate with rave reviews.
I also have an Expanded Edition of this book, available here!

This book is amazing! I’m so thankful for Ed’s book. I’m a new teacher for VIPKID and really wanted my feedback to parents to be individualized and meaningful. Since reading Ed’s book, I have so many ideas of how to do this. Thank you, Ed!

Worth every penny. My feedback has gotten easier and more clear. I understand the students and parents a little better. They give me feedback more often now too

This book was instrumental in educating me about the way Chines parents interpret our feedback about their children’s progress in class. I was (ignorantly) regurgitating what was taught in the lesson. Just positive notes on behavior and progress whether or not the student did a good job for fear of offending the parents. Now I know that it is expected somewhat to give the parents a gauge of performance and expectations of future gains. I applied your ideas, verbiage and sentence structures for various issues I personally have with many of my regular students, changed them to suit my needs and Wow!, I got feedback from many parents that blew my mind. They were totally on board with my reports and offered assistance on behavior issues, homework issues and general class participation issue. I have mostly regulars that book a few times a weeks. I have seen a vast improvement in the students behavior and learning as well as receiving 5 apple feed back with remarks. Yeah! Thank you for the education and I greatly appreciate the templates. Well done! OBTW: I have been with VIPKids for 60 days, have taught 125 classes and have 40 students. 12 who are regulars. Love, Love,Love my job!

What I love about Ed’s book is that there is feedback advice for every type of student you may and HAVE encountered. I highly recommend this book. It makes ESL feedback much easier, and overall, makes me feel more confident as a teacher. This is exactly what I was looking for!
