Description
I want this book to empower you to write feedback that parents will want to read. And you’ll pick up some tidbits on Chinese culture along the way.
After covering the principles I use to write useful feedback, I show you samples of how I word feedback in specific situations. I hope that this info will help you find your own unique voice and leave feedback that is useful, realistic, and inspiring. When you deliver an AMAZING experience both in the classroom and in the feedback box, parents tend to reciprocate with rave reviews.
I also have an Expanded Edition of this book, available here!

This book is INVALUABLE!!!! I bought it, read it in a day and immediately bought his other two books. They are seriously worth every single penny. I ended up printing them out so I could have a hard copy that I could quickly reference when doing my feedback.

Ed’s book has made me more conscientious of what and how to say what I want to say when I am writing feedback.

I haven’t yet read half the book and I am already using it! I’m so glad I purchase it. It has far more value than I expected. He has insights from years of teaching among its population. His experience is invaluable! Thank you so much!

I just bought the book like 10 minutes ago and I am already fascinated. Ed, you are so wise and funny. The things you write about are exactly the kind of things I want to know. I’m kinda tempted to just buy the extended version while I’m at it…

This book has not only helped me write better feedback but it has helped me be more intentional when I am teaching. I am a relatively new teacher on the VIPKid platform and reading Ed’s book has made more aware of things to listen for when I am teaching and has helped me extend lessons in more meaningful ways for the students. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to grow in their teaching mindset. I can’t wait to read the expanded version. Ed, thank you for sharing your experience, insight and wisdom!

Great!

Very useful information!!! Honestly, I think it’s way better than any of the zillion classes I took through VIPKID. I loved the small book so much I bought the expanded version the next day.

This book is worth it’s weight in gold! I got immediate feedback and it has also impacted how I approach my classes. I received far more applicable wisdom from this book than I ever could have imagined. Well worth it, without a single doubt!

This past week was my first week applying what I learned about feedback for every single class. I noticed a little increase of feedback, though mine tend to fluctuate.
But! This was my first frenzy when 100% of my students from last week rebooked. I had only one open slot available for the frenzy (and that was only because I didn’t teach that slot). I normally had about 75%-80% rebook from last week, and I’d go into the frenzy with about 6 slots up for grabs. So I was doing fine, I was using the GS feedback templates and tweaking them a bit. But now I focus more on the what and why and the awesome, and it just brought things to a new level.
So thank you for passing on your years of experience! I appreciate it 🙂

This book has made a huge difference in the type of feedback I leave for my students! It has helped me to explain the “why” and made my comments to parents much more personal. It is just what I needed to help me become a better communicator. Five BIG stars for this book! Thank you, Ed!
